In 1951, at the age of 17 and just out of high school, Dennis Frandsen started his business as a logger, and mixed in strong doses of hard work, straight shooting, aggressive pursuit of opportunities, and a little luck. Today, Frandsen Corporation owns companies that have $125 million in manufacturing sales and banks with $1.2 billion in assets, employing over 1,000 people in 30 communities in the Upper Midwest.
Our business operations include:
Plastech Corporation (acquired in 1962), a custom injection molder of plastic parts, headquartered in Rush City, Minnesota.
Miller Manufacturing (acquired in 1996), a manufacturer and distributor of products used in farming, ranching, and the pet industry, headquartered in Eagan, Minnesota with operations in Glencoe and Savage.
Internet Incorporated (acquired in 1999), a supplier of plastic netting and metal mesh, headquartered in Anoka, Minnesota.
Frandsen Financial Corporation , an interstate multi-bank holding company running 33 offices in Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota. |
