Frandsen Corporation is run by a management team that provides business expertise, strategic oversight, financial services, IT support, human resources, and capital to our four companies. Our managers are all proven business leaders with a unique combination of skills and abilities.

Tom Pesek, President and Chief Financial Officer

Tom focuses on acquisitions, planning, insurance, corporate oversight of all business entities, and continuity planning for Frandsen Corporation. In his 18 years with the organization, Frandsen’s manufacturing division has tripled in sales and expanded from one firm to four, while the banking operation has expanded from two offices to 32.  In Frandsen’s long-term plan, Tom is in line to become the CEO and CFO of Frandsen Corporation.

Prior to joining Frandsen, Tom worked in finance for the Target Corporation, and in commercial lending with U.S. Bank. He earned an MBA in Finance from University of Minnesota, and a B.A. from University of St. Thomas. He lives in the Twin Cities.



Dan Ferrise, Executive Vice President

Dan, who joined Frandsen Corporation in 2005, works closely with Frandsen’s manufacturing companies, providing guidance, planning support and corporate oversight. In Frandsen’s long-term plan, Dan is in line to become the President and COO of Frandsen Corporation.

Prior to joining Frandsen, Dan served for six years as CEO of MINNCOR Industries, the manufacturing arm of the Minnesota Department of Corrections. He led the successful conversion of the corrections work program into a profitable service and product manufacturing firm, incorporating contemporary business solutions into the organization and building annual sales to nearly $40 million. He also served as warden at the Minnesota Correctional Facility at Stillwater, working in the Department of Corrections for a total of 17 years. He earned a B.A. in Marketing and Business Management from Concordia University.
Marcia Wegleitner, Controller

Marcia has been part of the Frandsen organization for over 30 years. She spent 13 years at Plastech Corporation in positions in Production Control, Accounting and Systems Support prior to becoming controller of Frandsen Financial Corporation in 1989. She added Plastech to her responsibilities in 1991. As Corporate Controller, she has direct responsibilities for all manufacturing companies, and oversees all entities in regard to the overall accounting and taxes for Dennis Frandsen.



 Pam McLain, Director of Human Resources

Pam has 14 years of experience in the human resources field, joining Frandsen in 1996. In her position, she assists leaders, department heads, and human resources staff throughout the Frandsen organization in the design and implementation of methods to assess and improve the organization’s effectiveness. In addition, she recruits to fill key positions within Frandsen and its companies, and ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory agencies.

Pam previously was the Human Resources Manager at Plastech Corporation, a Frandsen-owned company, and HR Supervisor for Polaris Industries. She earned an M.B.A. from University of St. Thomas, and a B.A. from South Dakota State University.


Kevin Engstrom, Director of Information Services
Kevin has been in the Frandsen organization since 1989, holding several IT positions at Plastech Corporation prior to joining the Frandsen Corporation staff in 2005. He currently oversees all purchases of new technology hardware and software, directs network engineers, and manages all aspects of Frandsen’s computer network.

Kevin previously served as IT Manager at Plastech, where he assisted in implementing a human resources and payroll system for all Frandsen companies. He also served as a software developer. He holds degrees in Computer Operations and Computer Programming from Century College.

 

 

 

 

 

Amy Scheel, Corporate Director of Marketing

Amy joined Frandsen Corporation in 2006.  In her position she is directly responsible for all market research and industry analysis necessary while qualifying acquisition candidates and for developing strategic plans for all corporate entities. In addition, she provides oversight of all tactical marketing strategies for each division of Frandsen Corporation. 

Amy previously was the Business Development Manager for Wipfli LLP, a regional business consulting firm, and a Product Manager at Imation.  She earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
