Frandsen Financial Corporation is an interstate multi-bank holding company that owns full service community banks in Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota. Richard Hoban, President

Richard joined Frandsen Financial Corporation in 1989 as a Vice President, and was later promoted to President. During that time, he has overseen tenfold growth in total FFC assets, from $115 million in 1989 to $1.2 billion in 2005. As President, Richard is responsible for all of the FFC banking operations, and for managing FFC’s growth strategy for acquiring new community banks.

Prior to joining FFC, Richard worked with U.S. Bank (then First Bank) from 1981-’89, serving as a commercial loan officer and a loan workout officer before earning a promotion to Vice President and team leader at the St. Paul and Minneapolis downtown offices. Richard earned his B.S. in Economics and Business Management from St. Johns University.


Chuck Mausbach, Executive Vice President

Chuck joined Frandsen Financial Corporation in 2005 after spending 32 years in the banking industry. At FFC, he is responsible for managing all of the company’s support functions, including human resources, marketing, data and item processing, compliance, IT, loan review, and investments.

Prior to coming to FFC, Chuck was Executive Vice President and Western Division President for Community First Bankshares, a company with $6 billion in assets and 130 locations in 12 states prior to merging with Bank of the West. He worked there for 14 years following 18 years with First Bank System (now U.S. Bank), where he held several positions in sales, lending, and management, and left as Senior Vice President. Chuck earned his B.S. in Economics from South Dakota State University.
